Robby is a visionary and a problem solver with an unparalleled knowledge of all aspects of the business. His leadership transformed Americase from a small company into an enterprise level organization that serves customers worldwide, including a large representation among the top Fortune 50 companies as well as nearly every commercial airline in the world.
Robby’s passion for the company started early. When he was nine years old, he helped build the first dedicated Americase facility by operating a SkyTrak rough terrain fork-lift. During his teenage years, Robby learned the business from the ground up by working at every station of every product line on his summer breaks. As he pursued his BBA in Marketing at the University of North Texas, he continued to work for Americase creating and booking all advertising, and in the early 2000s he took over as both Plant Manager and Office/Accounting Manager. Solving for business growth, Robby used his in-depth knowledge of the core of the business, focusing on R&D and securing essential certifications, to successfully expand the company into new verticals and turn it into the industry leader it is today. In 2014, Robby took over as President & CEO.
Today, Robby sits on many standards committees, including the Council on Safe Transportation of Hazardous Articles (COSTHA), The Rechargeable Battery Association (PRBA), Danger Goods Advisory Council (DGAC), Battery Transportation Committee, UN Informal Working Group on Hazard Classification of Lithium Batteries, and UN Sub Committee on the Reclassification of Lithium ion and Metal Cells. He is also an SAE G27 writing and voting member, and an advisor for the Medical Device Transport Council (MDTC).
